Amy R. Handler, MFA, is a Boston-based theatre and film director, journalist, publicist, and film critic. Her interest in the human condition is both speculative and psychologically focused—examining time, fate, coincidence, and our capacity for good and evil. Handler’s written work appears at Film International Magazine, Cineaste, Film Threat, Moving Pictures Magazine, and other periodicals throughout the world. She is presently writing several chapters in a book entitled, German Cinema: A Critical Filmography to 1945.
