Jonathan Barbato has a passion for media. He is a freelance filmmaker engaged with the Harvard Kennedy School, the Mass Literacy Foundation, the Boston Herald, and others to create educational content. Jonathan had previously been a member of  I.A.T.S.E. Local 161 as a Script Supervisor based out of New York, working with some well-known clients, including Hasbro, HGTV, MTV, PBS, Showtime, the Boston Red Sox, the New England Revolution, and more.  Currently, he is the Outreach and Communication Chair of the MassAccess Board of Directors and the Massachusetts State Representative of the Alliance for Community Media Northeast Regional Board of Directors, as well as the Production Coordinator at Arlington Community Media Inc.  Jonathan empowers individuals and organizations with the know-how to create effective videos.  He's developed personalized filmmaking workshops all over New England and has spoken at national conferences.  He is pleased to have the opportunity to meet interesting people and serve Massachusetts by promoting media literacy. Jonathan has been invited to judge the High School Shorts.
